The dude gets an update

Back in March I shared this famous 'dude with a sign' post for the first time.

I had originally customized it with a 'handwriting font' to say: "Your restaurant needs a better Instagram"

It was met with enthusiasm, and since it stood for what Í stand for (better socials for restaurants) I pinned it to the top of my page.

Dude with a sign was now the official greeter of everybody visiting my IG profile.

Plenty of these profile visitors have left comments of agreement and laughing emojis under the post, but after 6 months of something feeling off about it, the dude has finally gotten an updated sign...

Yes, your restaurant needs a stronger social media presence, but more than that, it deserves it.

I started doing social media management for restaurants, for 1 main reason:

To help overwhelmed restaurant owners.

The ones who know that a strong social media presence in 2022 is vital, but simply don't have the time for it themselves.

The ones that have their heads and hands full with everything it takes to run a successful restaurant.

Especially because of the damage Covid caused to this industry.

I want those people to go home after a long workday, pour themselves a glass of wine and relax.

I want them to spend quality time with their loved ones.

I want them to Netflix for 4 hours straight if that's what they want to do.

But what I don't want is for them at the end of a long workday, to come home and have to worry about social media marketing.

To reply to missed messages, think of content ideas, learn about the dreaded IG algorithms.

They deserve better, as their restaurants do.
